Hey ladies! While formal recruitment may seem far away, I speak on behalf of the entire Theta chapter of Alpha Phi here at UMich when I say we are so excited to get to meet every single one of you. We can't wait to meet you all around campus, help show you around, and be a part of your first semester.

Formal Recruitment is something our chapter and the whole Panhellenic community look forward to every year, and we (okay, maybe just me) have already started working hard to ensure the process is so special for you. We’re especially excited to share the values and characteristics that make Alpha Phi, and the reason we each decided why Alpha Phi was the place we wanted to call home. Sisterhood, innovation, generosity, and empowering one another to become the best versions of ourselves are values that run deep within each of our members, and we hope we get the opportunity to share that with you.

I sincerely hope you make the choice to join the journey! I always knew I wanted to join a sorority, I actually think I was the first person to register (lol), but I also remember how scary the idea of going through the recruitment process was. What the recruitment process ended up having in store for me was more than I could ever imagined because I went through it with an open heart & mind. As soon as I met the girls of Alpha Phi I suddenly knew it was where I belonged. Alpha Phi has been my comfort, my home, my best friends, my favorite hobby (recruitment), and the absolute best memories of my life.

The sisterhood we have built in Alpha Phi is truly something unique. Everyday it grows stronger with love, support, and excitement for the future with an amazing group of determined women, even in the twists and turns of college life. The ambition, kindness, and love is so clear, and I can say with confidence that am I so proud to be an Alpha Phi.
